Hi again!

Have you had a great summer? It’s been nonstop for us.

As you know, we reported our first customer – and then our first revenue! We are now filling our order pipeline, and you can expect more news from that direction, and also from Europe and elsewhere. OriginOil is $elling, which is a nice, hectic feeling.

The big driver for algae today is carbon storage. Big energy, mining and industrial interests need to do something about their CO2. Algae can make them look good at very low expense. Algae costs millions not billions, and that is very attractive right now.

It is strange but true that algae will help the polluters continue in business by reducing their CO2 emissions. But that seems to be how we will get the massive algae developments built!

OriginOil is speaking – Join Us

Resnick Institute at Caltech: Dr. Vikram Pattarkine will speak at the Sustainable Energy & Infrastructure Forum on September 17 (Pasadena, CA). He will present on Biomass Energy Recovery Optimization. (more)

National Algae Association: we will present at the NAA’s Fast Track Algae Commercialization, Production, Research and Networking Conference, September 23-24 in Houston. We typically use the NAA Forums as a way to announce major new developments. (more)

World Algae Congress USA 2010: I will be discussing algae to reduce carbon pollution for major fossil fuel users, as a member of the keynote panel session on December 7 in San Francisco. (more)

I’m very happy with the OriginOil team and its progress. As always, I appreciate your support more than you know. Keep it up!
