Good morning!

My brother Nicholas, OriginOil’s co-founder and chief inventor, doesn’t seek the limelight. It’s a distraction to the business of inventing.

So in all his years in environmental engineering, he has never been on TV.

But last Thursday, he took the Pacific Surfliner down to Solana Beach to appear with me on Bob “Sully” Sullivan’s Big Biz Show. Here we are on the set:

NIck on TV

Take a moment and watch this show here — I promise you will enjoy it.

If you’re interested in how OriginOil came to be, and the details on recent developments, you will want to watch.

Justices rule for Okla. over Texas in interstate water war

That was the Greenwire headline — and it’s not the end of the water wars.

The Supreme Court ruled today that Texas has no right to Oklahoma’s water under a 1980 interstate compact in a case seen as having broad implications in the arid western United States. Justices unanimously held in Tarrant Regional Water District v. Herrmann that Oklahoma laws effectively limiting the ability of an out-of-state entity to tap its resources are not pre-empted by the Red River Compact.

Water is an increasingly precious commodity; perhaps the most precious commodity of all.

Nicholas’ story is fascinating in that context.
Have a great week!
